WEBSITE REBOOT! YAY! Welcome to the NEW patrickjackdesigns.com 2.0

Hello to whoever may read this! Friends, foes, internet explorers and beyond!

Super excited to finally launch my rebooted website.. www.patricjackdesigns.com 2.0 - can I get a Woohoo! waits patiently for a unanimous WOOHOO.. It’s been a long time coming, as I’ve just never found the time as fortunately I have always been working! Now I know the first thing you’re thinking is.. why not pay someone to do it then?! A PRO-FESS-I-ONAL.. well truth be told, I’m a control freak (there I said it, its out there!) and I really wanted to do it myself.

So thanks to CORONAVIRUS decimating my 2020 work schedule for several months, I had the time to do a complete overhaul. It was actually quite nice to have somewhere to focus my creative energies as like many I suddenly felt quite lost.

I feel very lucky, as for me work has always been more than just a way to earn money. I love what I do and I take great pride in my career, and for it to have suddenly been wiped out like it was, really sent me flying. BUT I was lucky, I could pay my mortgage, I could buy food, I was healthy(well, other than when I actually had covid-19.. but thats another story), happy and in the grand scheme of things my life was fine, just a little different for a while!

So after the initial shock, I reminded myself how lucky I am & told myself to USE THIS TIME WELL!

AND I did!… TA-DAH! I split my time between revamping my website from top to bottom, and making face masks for key workers. In the end I made over 450 mask! I doubt I’ll ever be able to look at string elastic the same way again. I’ll write another post about that shortly.

But in the meantime, please take a look around the new site, I’ll be updating the blog regularly with work, style inspo, random chitchat and who know what else!
